关于pid

积极想象 Positive Imaginary Design (pid) 是一间位于深圳、专业提供创意内容解决方案的小型艺术设计与事件策划事务所。pid旨在为各场域提供源源不断的创意与灵感，并寻求新的表达方式。积极想象 Positive Imaginary 名字源起于瑞士心理学家卡尔·荣格(Carl Gustav Jung)的心理学术语。正如名字所言，无论是生活、艺术或是设计，我们都需要积极地去探索、接触无意识，激发我们的想象(力)。

pid专注于为设计、商业、艺术策展、文化交流、媒体交互、影像、声音、出版等领域带来新的解释视角，促进文化、视觉艺术、当代艺术、多媒体艺术及公共空间等不同媒介间碰撞融合，与各领域精英一起发掘新的视觉与听觉表达方式。pid主创包括IxDA国际交互设计联盟深圳分区负责人等。

about pid

Positive Imaginary Design (pid) is a small culture & design firm based in Shenzhen that provides creative solutions and new ideas in various fields. Pid focus on finding new expressions from the impact and fusion of graphics, media arts and space in different media and area. ‘Positive Imaginary’ comes from a psychological term by Carl Gustav Jung (Swiss, 1875—1961).

Re-examine the commercial research from the perspective of design, and sort out the design projects again with the idea of curation.

Pid aim to bringing new interpretation perspectives to the fields of design, commercial, art curation, cultural exchange, media interactive art, video, sound art and publishing, exploring new ideas with those elites.The main founder of pid include the leader of the Shenzhen branch of the IxDA.

Q：pid现在处于什么样的状态？
A：老实说我们2021年刚成立，工作室目前甚至还只有一个固定员工（也就是创始Rocker Li自己），也有一些常合作项目的设计师、策展人。不过pid无论何时都是以“我们”的称呼出现的。因为团队形式的魅力非常诱人。

Q：pid对于自己的定位是怎么样的？
A：我们其实想要给别人一种不能被定义的感觉，这包括工作室在项目中出现的形式和给外界传达的形象（现在还在努力）。总之就是要和别人不一样，有自己的视角、审美和态度。老实说pid的项目定位是比较偏向于艺术项目的，因为我们自己本身就喜欢搞一些创作和艺术表达。可能叫“艺术设计工作室”比“设计工作室”更加准确。

Q：pid的理想办公环境是什么？
A：我们目前还在寻找一个小面积（大概20m²）的办公空间作为pid真正的起点。还是想要在华侨城创意园里面找，但是由于面积太小而很难实现。目标是空白的工业型厂房，这意味着更高的层高以及很大的铁窗，是的我们非常需要大窗户。然后就是慵懒的社区，楼下可以方便地找到吃饭和晚上可以喝酒的地方就更好了。pid希望营造一个能够让人想要表达想要说话的工作空间。我去过很多“创意机构”的办公室，很快我就溜出来了，因为我一进去就不愿意说话了，里面形成了一种逼人的压抑氛围。

Q：pid如何思考不同的项目和不同的客户需求？
A：我们现在正处于一个塑形阶段，这不仅仅意味着我们自身在不断清晰方向，更多的是在逐步形成属于pid的一套设计、策划语言。通过自己的特有语言去和客户沟通，也通过这套语言去为客户找到更加“难忘”的解决方案。同时我们也将通过建立这套语言去开发带有pid视野的各种项目。因为我们认为“设计力”只是其中一种pid使用的工具，我们会根据不同的需求来考虑使用各种不同的工具。毕竟我们与合作者的“共频”十分重要。

Q: What is the status of pid now?
A: To be honest, we have just established in 2021, and the studio even has only one regular employee (that is, the founder Rocker Li himself), also some designers and curators who often collaborate on projects. But pid always appears as "we". Because the charm of the form of the team is very great.
Q: What is the positioning of pid?
A: We actually want to bring others a feeling that cannot be defined, which includes the form of the firm in projects and the image it conveys to the outside world (still trying to do better). In short, it is necessary to be different from others and have your own perspective, aesthetics and attitude. To be honest, the project positioning of pid is more inclined to art projects, because we ourselves like to engage in some creation and artistic expression. Perhaps "art design studio" is more appropriate than "design studio".

Q: What is the ideal office environment for pid?
A: We are still looking for a small office space (about 20m²) as the real starting point of pid. I still want to find it in the OCT Creative Park, but it is difficult to achieve because the area is too small. The target is a blank industrial type factory, which means higher ceilings and big iron windows, yes we need big windows very much. Then there are the lazy neighborhoods, even better downstairs where you can easily find places to eat and drink in the evening. pid hopes to create a work space where people can express their desire to speak. I have been to many "creative agencies" offices, and I quickly slipped out, because as soon as I entered, I was reluctant to speak, a depressing atmosphere.

Q: How pid thinks about different projects and different client’s demands?
A: We are now in a shaping phase, which not only means that we are constantly clearing our own direction, but also that we are gradually forming a set of design and planning language that belong to pid. Communicate with clients through our own unique language, and use this language to find more "unforgettable" solutions for them. At the same time, we will also develop various projects with pid’s vision by establishing this language. Because we think "design ability" is just one of the tools used by pid, we will consider using various tools according to different needs. After all we think "common frequency" with our collaborators is very important.
